IS YOUR WEBSITE RIGHT?

Is your website going to convert your visitors to customers?

So, you’ve got a website, you think it’s the bee’s knees. You have spent a fortune on SEO getting your site onto the first page of Google, your visitor numbers are through the roof, but…

 YOU STILL AIN’T GETTING CONVERSIONS!!!!

Why?

All the evidence point’s to a fundamental flaw in your site, and it’s more than likely one of 3 things?

  1. The Design. It doesn’t look right. We all know that you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, but, if you follow the analogy, there are plenty of other books out there. So if your site doesn’t leap off the screen and say LOOK AT ME then your visitors will leave. Or it could be that your design isn’t consistent with your branding, and if that’s the case you could be giving mixed messages about who and what you are.
  2. The Content. Is it too wordy, does it not say enough about what you do, are your products and services not clearly identified, is there anything there to quickly engage a visitors attention. The content of a website will sell your company, your products and your services, and if the content is wrong you just won’t convince anyone that you are the one to use.
  3. Communication. How do people communicate with you? Are your contact details clearly visible? Can people quickly send you an email? Is your contact page well structured? Do you have a contact form people can fill in? If the answer to any of these questions is no then the chances are high that no one is contacting you because they can’t.

So remember, you could be at the top of every search engine listing for your company’s products and services, but if your site isn’t right you might as well not bother.
